Not bad for a one eyed fat Man! What is truly amazing is that the fastest shooters in the world are all OLDER men. This guy Bob Munden, Jerry Miculek, fastest man with a revolver appears to be in his late 50's, early 60's, and Tom Knapp, appears to be in his mid to late 60's, can shoot ten clays thrown from his own hand, before any of them hits the ground! He shoots each clay with one shot from his Benelli shotgun. Throws all ten up at once, and shoots the lowest one first, all the way up. Just goes to show you that it takes alot of experience to be this good. Also, old age and treachery, will always win out over youth and skill!

Hes got to be the best there ever will be at 2/100s of a second.

I recently read about him and found out hes a heck of a Smith on Single Action Revolvers. I would love to have something done by a Great Gun Smith that would do it perfect. To be able to hold it in your hand and know its the best, thats the kind of feeling I love.

On the gun/shooting programs last night, they did a segment on a master gun engraver who recently passed away. He could recreate the engravings that the master smiths did several hundred years ago. They showed a flintlock rifle that He engraved, He spent 4 weeks on the receiver area, and 7 weeks on the barrel! It was a piece of art! Several of his pieces are in gun museums on display, can't remember his name.

There's a show on the Outdoor Channel called Shooting USA. It used to be called American Shooter, and once in a while they'd do a feature with Bob Munden. He did one on holsters, particularly different types set up for quick draw. He did one on "fanning" where you hold the trigger and swipe the hammer with your other hand, to fire quickly. And from time to time, he'd take a 1911, hold it down near the hip/stomach, and either bumpfire it or just pull the trigger real, real fast. Fun stuff to watch, no doubt... I think I actually have some of his stuff recorded on VHS somewhere.

I just switched from DirecTV to Dish Network 2 weeks ago. It was on channel 606 on Direct tv. Should still be there. If not, I'm glad I switched.

I was watching that show once, and there was a guy that could toss an Asprin (yes, a tiny white pill) into the air and shoot it with his bow. Unbelievable. They showed the arrow smashing the asprin in slow-mo.

Stuff like that makes you want to practice and practice untold hours to learn some unique and stupid trick. My friend in High School actually got suspended for performing a trick where he could lay on his back and inhale through his asshole and fart it back out. Don't know where he got the idea, but he says it took him a bit of practice. Hell, i can't even do that 'loud whistle with the fingers' thing....

LOL! I had a roommate in the Air Force, who could do those arm farts with his arm pits. The funny thing is that he could put his hand in the opposite arm pit, crank his arm down and hold it. Then a minute or two later he would release the air for the arm fart! It was hysterical!

That's Byron Ferguson - he still comes on American Shooter aka Shooting USA sometimes in their little "impossible shot" segment. He shot an arrow through the hole in a CD from some distance, and also did so backwards using a mirror, I think.
